From the UK to the Netherlands: A European Move

11th July, 2025

A EUROPEAN MOVE WITH CHANGES TO THE INITIAL PLAN

This was a move for work purposes, taking the whole family from the UK to the Netherlands. The family were moving from a four-bedroom townhouse in Keynsham to premises over three floors in Molenstraat, the Netherlands, supported by our Bristol removals team.

All types of moving, whether it be local, European or International, can throw up challenges or changes. In this instance, GB Liners had to be ready to adapt, as two weeks prior to the move, the plans were changed. We accommodated this modification with ease, versatility being the name of the game, and switched from a direct move abroad from Keynsham to Molenstraat to a move with temporary storage in the UK.

PACKAGING & SERVICES INCLUDED

The customer solely required a removal service with storage, and no packing services were required. However, GB Liners were ready to provide and deliver pre-used packing materials, so the customer could undertake their own packing. As they were happy to deal with the packing, the customer had peace of mind knowing that specialist services were on-hand from GB Liners when it came to dismantling and reassembling of one bed, one dining table and one futon, services which they eagerly took advantage of.

OUTCOME

With the switch in service requirements, GB Liners quickly modified the itinerary, and the goods were taken into store awaiting the customer’s further instructions for their delivery requirements. Another happy outcome with the successful completion still to come.
