On Friday, 11th July, Sarah Simpson, our Import Manager, again completed the Venus Midnight Walk in aid of St Michael’s Hospice. Sarah has completed this walk every year in honour of Sandy, her younger sister, who passed away at St Michael’s Hospice in June 2020. She said it was most definitely the hottest walk ever, but she and her companions battled on and completed the 10K walk in good time, finishing in an admirable 1 hour 40 minutes! Sarah was accompanied by her daughter, Emily and Sara Dines, a former colleague from GB Liners. Not to break with their tradition, Sarah and Sara stopped near the finish for a photo with the GB Liners’ sign, as you will see from the main photo for the article. The trio should all be highly commended for this fantastic achievement.
